Odense University Hospital

Odense University Hospital is the largest hospital in Denmark and has more than 10.000 employees and is one of three university hospitals in Denmark. Here all medical specialities are represented in one place. OUH is the largest education and training centres in the South Denmark Region, and has close collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark.

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Overall, the department is responsible for 24 highly specialised functions in relation to the national speciality plan and has functions in benign gynaecology, fertility, gynaecological oncology, uro-gynaecology, obstetrics, foetal medicine and global health.

The department is managed by consultant Bjarne Rønde Kristensen.

The medical staff comprises: 7 professsorships, 37 consultants and 25 junior physicians.
